Scientific Students' Associations Conference In The Department Of Geophysics And Space Science - 2020

This year, our Chapter has created a new tradition by establishing a special award in the framework of the Scientific Students' Associations in Geophysics, which was awarded again this year. This special award is intended for students who have presented their outstanding research at the Scientific Students' Associations Conference in the Department of Geophysics and Space Science at Eötvös Loránd University and whose topic fits into the profile of the SEG.

At the conference in 2020, this prize was awarded to József Gábor Szűcs by our board for his presentation "Monte-Carlo modeling of a well-logging tool using a pulsed neutron source developed to measure the carbon-oxygen ratio". The supervisor of the student was Dr. László Balázs (Eötvös Loránd University, Department of Geophysics and Space Science).
