Scientific Students' Associations Conference in the Department of Geophysics and Space Science - 2021
12.09.2021
Last year, our Chapter created a new tradition by establishing a special award in the framework of the Scientific Students' Associations in Geophysics, which was awarded again this year. This special award is intended for students who have presented their outstanding research at the Scientific Students' Associations Conference in the Department of Geophysics and Space Science at Eötvös Loránd University and whose topic fits into the profile of the SEG.
At the conference in 2021, this prize was awarded to Kolos Németh by our board for his presentation "How does seismic noise become a dispersion curve? Processing background noise data using the PACASE station network". The supervisor of the student was Máté Timkó (Eötvös Loránd Research Network, Institute of Physics and Space Science, Kövesligethy Rado Seismological Observatory). The presentation and the abstract can be found on the website of the Scientific Students' Associations Conference in Geophysics.
Congratulations on the excellent result and good luck with your research work!
