Trip to the Three Border Mountain
08.18.2020
Between two quarantines, the Eötvös Student Chapter invited its members for a short trip to the Three Border Mountain in the Buda Hills, in Budapest.
The aim of the one-day field trip was to learn about and better understand the geological structure and formation of the Three Border Mountain. The mountain range is mainly composed of Triassic dolomite and limestone, with Eocene conglomerate deposits, one of the outcrops of which, the Gukler rock, was also visited.
